TREASURE

You already have what it takes!

You are unique and God created you for a specific purpose. You have gifts that are waiting to be discovered and developed. However, treasures are not found at the surface, you have to dig deeper to unearth your treasure and grow in the grace that God has bestowed on you. Do not be discouraged by the process, stay faithful, dig deeper and enjoy the treasure hunt.

It is easier to recognize the treasures in other people’s lives and wish you have what they have. Yet, you have unique treasures waiting to be discovered. Do not be discouraged if the packaging does not look promising; stay faithful and grow in your grace.

“A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.” Proverbs 18:16

I love the song “The gift” by Donald Lawrence.

Here is an excerpt of the lyrics:

The systems of the world

Will try to take your confidence

But these systems were designed to make you doubt what heaven sent… and make you sit down on your gift

But the gift God gave to you, give it back to Him

When He sees it operating, it’s a compliment to Him

But the gift God gave to you, give it back to Him

For the gift it will make room, position, for great men to see you

The gift it looks good on you

It looks good on you

The gift it looks good

And you wear it well

God has graced you and you wear it well

You were born with a unique gift and God has graced you to excel in it – wear it well. Stay steadfast and persevere in developing all that God has given you. Stay faithful and watch God multiply your opportunities, talents, and treasures.

Gold is not mined in the pure form. It has to go through an extraction process that is loud, hot and painful to reveal the gold within the ore. Imagine what would happen if the ore complains of the heat and jumps out of the fire choosing rather to live comfortably in the dirt – what a waste that would be!

Do not give up in the middle of your refining process; you will come out shinning as gold.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1

What are you doing with what God has given you?

The greatest tragedy of life is to do nothing with what God has given you. Untapped potential is a disaster. Determine to use all that God has given you and be totally spent and emptied out by the time you die.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the children of God.” Romans 8:19

God has a perfect plan for your life and you can only discover who you are by spending quality time with God. Do not allow the daily pressures of life to prevent your intimacy with God. Be intentional about your relationship and protect your time with Him. Find the time of day works for you and stick with it.

As you get to know God, you will get to know who you are. God will introduce you to your purpose.

Ask God to open your eyes to see the treasures in your life; then go on an internal treasure hunt with the Holy Spirit and become ALL you were created to be.

The world is waiting for your manifestation!

To be candid, you need to see my face when I saw the post on Facebook. I really really really wish gold comes out of the earth sparkling – you know what I mean. I really wish.
