Life can be an amazing journey of discovery; however, our expectations have a lot to do with what eventually becomes our reality.
What are your dreams? What are you looking forward to and working towards? Do you have a clear picture in mind? Can you see it?
A clear focus sharpens expectations. The Wright brothers expected to discover aviation secrets. They pressed on because they had a clear vision of what they desired to accomplish- build airplanes. Orville once said “If birds can glide for long periods of time, then… why can’t I?” They had a clear picture of the end result and they kept working till it became a reality.
“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18
Faith is positive expectation and fear is negative expectation.
Faith is of God and fear is of the devil. Faith in God strengthens us to wait on Him and believe that there will be a manifestation of His precious promises concerning our lives.
When you agree with what God says about you and look to Him as your source irrespective of your circumstances, you are standing in faith.
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Wait patiently for God. Do not contaminate your faith with fear. The devil is going to try to plant seeds of fear in you and paint pictures of failure and disappointment – refuse to let fear take root in you.

God will make everything beautiful in His time. Wait with joy.
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him.” Psalms 62:5
Faith always looks up to God for the solution. This strengthens your spirit to draw on the wealth of wisdom available through the spirit of God.
“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
Victory is guaranteed because God puts the desire in you and then works through you to achieve it.
Dream big and expect God to show up!
