What makes you come alive? What makes you feel like the soaring Eagle? What refreshes and invigorates you? What do you love to do? What you excel at is an indication of what you were created to do.
TIME
Many times we are so busy doing the things we need to do and we have no time in the margin of our day to pursue our dreams. To succeed in life, we need to learn to make the time to do more of what we were designed to do.
The reality is that many of us do not have the luxury to do only the things we love to do because we need to do other things to put food on the table. We have careers and jobs that are truly demanding where we make a honest living. However we cannot only do what we need to do in life. We need to find the time to do what we are passionate about and what we love to do. Time to hone our craft and explore the boundaries of our potential.
“I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:13
HESITATION
Sometimes, we hesitate because the price seems high and there are no guarantees that the dream will come to pass, hence we postpone action. Day after day, time is going to keep ticking and things are not going to slow down for us to recalibrate and refocus. You and I need to fight to make time to pursue the dream and explore the question “Is this the best version of me?”. Stare down the question “what if” with the answer “what if it works!”
There is nothing to be afraid of and the journey will be well worth it. If it turns out that the dream you are pursuing is not right for you, it will definitely take you closer to the dream that is right for you. Step out of the net to find out what you are capable of doing.
“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
