STAND

“Never doubt in the DARK what God told you in the LIGHT.” V. Raymond Edman

The year 2016 will end in 1 day! In many ways, it feels like the year just started and in other ways, it feels like it’s been a long year. Some would describe this year as a banner year filled with blessings and new beginnings while others would describe this year as a hard year filled with difficulties and pain. What was your experience in 2016 and what memories are you holding on to as this year slips away forever?

The good news is that irrespective of our experiences in 2016, the year will end on December 31st and a new year will begin ushering in new hope. The new year is another opportunity to experience the faithfulness of God. If you have been waiting on something, keep standing – God is faithful. If you are recovering from a difficult experience, keep standing – the strength of God will be perfected in you. Anchor your life on the Word of God and keep standing on His word.

The heavens and the earth were created with words, God declared what He wanted to see and it materialized.  We were made in the image of God and we have the same power. We can use our words to create/recreate our world. Begin to speak the word of God into every area of your life and expect it to conform to the word of God.

The word of God is as powerful in your mouth as it is in the mouth of God

You are indomitable because you have God living inside you and your words cannot be refuted because they are the words of God. Stand in this truth and watch God work in your life

You are more than a conqueror through Christ and you have heaven on your side. Nothing can withstand you as you stand on the promises of God. You cannot fail with Him. Dig into the treasure of the Word and stand strong.

Find the Word of God that addresses your situation and declare it. Believe – do not waiver! There is power in the word of God and that makes you invincible. Stand and keep standing – God is at work in your life.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105
